Candl is a news aggregation and alerting tool. We do not recommend, endorse, or suggest any particular trade, instrument, strategy, or financial product. Any action you take based on information from the Service is strictly at your own risk.

3. News Accuracy & Timeliness

While we strive to provide accurate, timely, and relevant financial news and data, we cannot and do not guarantee that any information provided through the Service is accurate, complete, current, or error-free.

News content is sourced from third-party providers and publicly available sources. We aggregate, summarise, and categorise this information using automated systems. These processes may introduce errors, omissions, delays, or inaccuracies. Impact scores and categorisations are generated algorithmically and reflect our system's assessment — they should not be treated as definitive or infallible.

Candl shall not be held liable for any losses, damages, or adverse consequences arising from reliance on any information provided through the Service. You acknowledge that financial markets are inherently unpredictable and that news and data can become outdated rapidly.

4. Prop Firm Rules & Trading Restrictions

We do not guarantee that the prop firm information displayed within the Service is accurate, complete, or up to date. It is your sole responsibility to verify all prop firm rules, restrictions, and requirements directly with the relevant prop firm before placing any trades or making any decisions based on this information.

Candl is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any proprietary trading firm unless explicitly stated. References to specific prop firms are made solely for informational purposes.

You should always check primary sources — including the prop firm's official website, dashboard, and support channels — to confirm the current rules that apply to your account. Candl shall not be held responsible or liable for any losses, failed challenges, account breaches, or adverse outcomes resulting from reliance on prop firm information displayed within the Service.

5. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or otherwise misuse the Service.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. If we change the pricing for your current subscription, we will provide reasonable advance notice before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Free trials provide full access to paid features for the stated trial period. You will not be charged during the trial unless you explicitly upgrade to a paid plan.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, software, and intellectual property associated with the Service are owned by Candl or our licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Candl and its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, trading losses, loss of data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability, or £100, whichever is greater.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Candl and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain the availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We shall not be liable for any losses or damages resulting from service interruptions or downtime.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
